Support for Migrants and Refugees

Sister Joséphine joined the Africa-Europe workshop in Rabat, promoting dignified and just support for migrants.

Sister Joséphine, head of the Welcome Point for Refugees and Immigrants (P.A.R.I.), participated in the Africa-Europe Network for Human Mobility workshop in Rabat, Morocco, from 22 to 27 June 2025.

Over fifty delegates from eleven countries reaffirmed their shared commitment to defending human mobility that is dignified, fair, and rooted in solidarity. Discussions addressed reception, transit, youth, forced displacement, migratory memory, and advocacy. The RAEMH strengthened regional alliances, updated its strategic documents, and concluded with a deeply moving spiritual ceremony. The workshop offered rich exchanges and training to enhance support for migrants.
