Empowering Refugee Women
As part of the week of preparation for World Refugee Day, celebrated each year on 20 June, Caritas PARI placed a special focus on empowering migrant and refugee women. On 17–18 June 2026, Sr Joséphine, Coordinator of Caritas PARI, organised a liquid soap-making workshop for a group of refugee and migrant women.
The training aimed to strengthen the participants’ skills by providing practical knowledge that could help them generate an income. Through this initiative, Caritas PARI supports the economic empowerment of migrant and refugee women while promoting their social inclusion and resilience in the face of everyday challenges.
The participants showed great enthusiasm throughout the workshop and expressed their gratitude for the opportunity, which has opened up new possibilities for entrepreneurship and greater self-reliance.
