Seini’s Silver Jubilee Celebration
The Sisters in Aotearoa New Zealand joyfully gathered to honour Sr Seini’s 25 years of faithful Marist Religious Life.
On the last weekend of June, the Sisters gathered at the Mt Albert community for their annual assembly. During the parish Mass on Sunday, parishioners joined the Sisters, Seini’s extended family, the Marist College community, and Marist friends to celebrate Seini’s Silver Jubilee.
Fr Chris Skinner, sm, was the main celebrant, assisted by the parish priest, Fr Marchellino Park. During his inspiring and insightful homily, Fr Chris sang a hymn he had recently composed, “Through Mary’s Way“.
After Mass, everyone gathered in the Marist Primary Hall to share food and fellowship. Later in the day, the Sisters continued the celebration in their community with gifts, speeches, and a lovely dinner—rounding off a day filled with gratitude, joy, and the enduring warmth of the Marist Spirit.
