Young Marist Leaders Gather in Aotearoa, New Zealand
On the first weekend of May, about forty Marist student leaders from across New Zealand gathered for a formation weekend to deepen their understanding of Marist servant leadership.
Student representatives came from the eight Catholic secondary schools founded by the Marist Fathers, while Marist College—the only secondary school founded by the Marist Sisters—had the privilege of hosting the event, with six of its student leaders participating.
The principals of the Marist schools were also present, showing their strong support for this important initiative. Sisters Catherine Lawson and Seini Fatai enjoyed the opportunity to meet and share stories with some of the young leaders, celebrating their enthusiasm and commitment to the Marist spirit.
