Celebrating Women’s Strength: International Women’s Rights Day 2025

On 8 March 2025, International Women’s Rights Day was celebrated by Caritas Point d’Accueil Pour les Réfugiés et Immigrés in partnership with the Good Shepherd Sisters and Zonta Club. Forty refugee and migrant women from diverse nationalities attended the event, which offered a valuable platform to raise awareness on women’s empowerment.

The theme highlighted the crucial role of women in their families and society at large. The day featured exhibitions of products made by migrant women, medical consultations, personal testimonials, and cultural activities—creating a rich exchange of information, ideas, and experiences.
