Reception Ceremony for our Candidates
The Sisters in Dakar, Senegal gathered around Emilienne, Madeline and Marie Claire as they were received as Candidates. This ceremony embraced their bold step in crossing another threshold of their lives. The community through the cultural ritual of pouring water on the doorstep and inviting them to cross over, wish to symbolize the peace with which they are and will be welcomed throughout their Candidacy.
During the ceremony, our candidates presented symbols which were an expression of what they wish to live and discover during this year of candidacy. We congratulate them and assure them of our prayer and support during this time.
