A Jubilee of Faith
500 Years of the Rectory of Saint Sebastian Martyr
The Jubilee Year marking the 500th anniversary of the foundation of Rectory of St Sebastian Martyr was solemnly inaugurated. Sr Norma was delighted to participated in this significant moment, accompanying the local community.
The celebration included a procession through the town, the reading of the Papal Bull that officially opens this special Jubilee period, and the ceremonial opening of the Holy Door. A relic of Saint Sebastian was also placed within the Rectory, enriching the spiritual meaning of the event.
