West Africa Assembly

The West Africa Unit held its Assembly from 28 to 29 December in Dakar, marked by a special grace — the canonical visit of our Superior General, Sister Sylvette.

The sisters reflected on the theme: “With Mary, Let Us Walk in Hope.” In the spirit of the Synod, this time of discernment, listening, and shared reflection inspired the desire to walk together in faith and unity.

The discussions and insights that emerged have rekindled hope, strengthening the sisters’ commitment to a dynamic communion, participation, and mission — for a brighter future of Marist religious life in Africa.
