United in Prayer

During the summer in Lyon, the Jesuit community closes its chapel for the season. Sr Marie-Therese Terra has the opportunity to celebrate Mass with our neighbours, the Sisters of Mother Teresa, Mass is celebrated by a priest from the Society of African Missions.

On one particular day, the Mass was offered for Sr Marie Mulpas, who had died on July 26. It was a touching moment of prayer and remembrance, bringing together different religious communities in faith and fraternity. A photograph of Sr Marie Mulpas rests at the foot of the altar during Mass.

Sr Marie-Therese gives thanks to the Lord for this gift of universal fraternity and solidarity, which broadens her prayer and reminds us of the bonds that unite us within the wider Church.
