Signposts to Aging Well

During the week of 9–14 March, Fr Hugh Langan visited different communities in Ireland and shared reflections with the Sisters on the theme: “Elderhood: Surprising Signposts to Aging Well.”

Together, they reflected on how they first responded to Jesus’ call and how they continue to respond today through their hopes, dreams, and present reality. Embracing ageing with grace and gratitude helped affirm that the changes and limitations of later years are a natural part of life, despite the physical realities of the ageing process.

Later conversations among the Sisters revealed a very positive, enthusiastic, and reflective response from each group.
