Sisters Gail Reneker and Gemma Pearson joined the 190th anniversary celebrations of St Brigid’s Church, the oldest surviving place of Catholic worship in Australia. Over the years, many of our Sisters have ministered in this historic parish, making the occasion especially meaningful.

Three pioneer Marist Sisters (Mother Melanie, Srs Sebastian and Marthe) stopped over in Sydney enroute from France to Fiji and slept inthe night in the Sacristy of St Brigid’s.
