Marist Family celebrate Season of Creation
Members from the various branches of the Marist Family gathered at Hunters Hill to celebrate the Season of Creation through prayer, discussion and the commitment to action.
Words from this year’s message for the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation by Pope Leo XIV inspired a lively discussion, which concluded with those present making a commitment to be “seeds of peace and hope.” Each person received a gift of seeds and an invitation to make further practical commitments.
The gathering was hosted by the Marist Family Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Committee in the parish hall, and concluded with a festive afternoon tea provided by the Hunters Hill Marist Way.
