Christmas for Migrant and Refugee Children: A Moment of Joy and Sharing

On Saturday, 20 December 2025, thanks to the generosity of donors, Sister Joséphine from Caritas – the Refugee and Immigrant Welcome Centre – together with her team, organised a Christmas celebration for migrant and refugee children.

This celebration brought together Muslim and Christian children in a shared spirit of fraternity. The program included the distribution of gifts, joyful activities, and the sharing of a warm, communal meal.

In total, 55 children took part in this festive gathering. They came from several nationalities, including Sudanese, Central African, Congolese, and Mauritanian backgrounds.

This initiative offered the children a moment of happiness and hope, despite the hardships of their journeys. A very sincere thank you is extended to the donors whose support made this beautiful act of solidarity possible.
