Celebrating our Foundress

This year’s Feast Day celebration of our Foundress, Jeanne-Marie Chavoin, was especially meaningful for the community in Davao and a little different from previous years. The community was delighted to welcome their Parish Priest to celebrate Mass, accompanied by his Assistant Parish Priest and the Deacon assigned to the parish. They were also joined by religious priests from OATS, the Presentation of Mary Sisters (PM Sisters), and the Missionary Sisters of the Love of Christ (SMAC Sisters) from Immaculate Conception Parish.

It was a beautiful occasion of prayer, fellowship and gratitude as they gathered to honour the Foundress of the Marist Sisters and celebrate their shared faith and vocation as religious women and men serving the people of God.
