Prophets of Hope!
“Synodality: A renewed call to the prophecy of hope”.
Sister Sylvette Mané was one of more than 250 women and men Superiors General who participated in a three-day residential meeting organised by the Executive Councils of the International Union of Superiors General (UISG) and the Union of Superiors General (USG): “Synodality: A renewed call to the prophecy of hope”.
The meeting took place from 22 to 24 November at the “Fraterna Domus” house of spirituality in Sacrofano (Rome). Consecrated men and women demonstrated a concrete will to walk together, involving the whole People of God, especially the poor and those on the margins.
They also had the opportunity to listen to the testimonies of the delegates of the two Unions to the Synodal Assembly in October 2023.
On the second day of the joint UISG-USG meeting, the morning was filled with joy as participants met with Pope Francis, sharing meaningful moments with him and strengthening the bonds and communion among the members present.
