Marist Youth Festival

Sisters Sheila and April participated in the Marist Youth Festival 2024 held in November in General Santos City, organized by the Marist Brothers.

The Marist Youth Ministry of the Marist Brothers East Asia Province held its biennial Marist Youth Festival on November 7–9, 2024 at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, General Santos City, Philippines, led by the Saint Marcellin Champagnat Club of the Philippine Sector.

The festival brought together 485 participants—435 youth and 50 youth animators and chaperones—from schools and ministries across the East Asia Province, including delegates from Marist schools in the Philippines and Malaysia, various Marist communities, and other Marist branches.

With the theme “Awake and arise, and Christ will shine on you,” the festival aimed to nurture the faith of Marist youth, foster solidarity with the poor, and inspire generous service. The program encouraged encounters with Jesus, connection among young Marists, and commitment to community service.
