News from the Participants - 1

Human Development (led by Grace) and Prayer and Contemplation (led by Anne) were our themes for the week. Blessed are those who have travelled to this point!

We were challenged to embrace the self-transcendence that gives us freedom, the ability to choose the values of Christ. Grace reminded us that: we are more attractive and loving when we are our true selves.

The last two days provided a blessed moment in which we saw the golden thread that links both themes for this week. It was an encounter with God our Creator. Prayer is to be present to God and to ourselves.

During the week we visited St Peter's Basilica, the Spanish Steps, the Trinity da Monti Church, the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain - as well as a gelateria!
