On our very special Fourvière day held in Nympsfield,  Sr Beate had carefully crafted the Centre Piece which brought us all into the ‘Marist Circle of Life’ from whatever angle we looked on it as we sat.  There she had lovingly arranged portraits of our founder and Foundress – Jean Claude Colin & Jeanne Marie Chavoin. These she encircled by apt inspirational quotes from their memoirs. Both were united by the one white candle on fabrics which had been passed on to Sr Beate by Marist benefactors of old.

 

Here in this room we experienced a morning of prayerful and significant reflection and sharing. The sense of mutual respect in prayerfulness was tangible. While we were conscious of our absent Sisters and missed them we  brought them into the circle of prayer remembering especially our sick and elderly.
