Australian Marist Sister, Noelene Simmons, was in Canberra for the launch of the Australian Freedom Network. Seventeen faith leaders, including Archbishop Denis Hart, were involved in supporting a declaration against modern day slavery. The declaration signed was the same one signed in the Vatican one year ago. Australia was the first country to sign and now India has also signed the declaration. Noelene (centre of photo) was an invited guest on Australian Radio when the issue was raised.
