Celebrating Fourvière

July 23^rd is a day when, here in the Unit of Australia, we are especially united with our sister and brother Marists from around the world as we remember Fourvière, 1816. Each year on or around this date, one of the branches of the family is responsible for creating and leading a celebration to which all are invited. It was the turn of the Marist laity to call us together this year. Covid restrictions prevented our meeting in person, however it didn’t stop us from seeing each other! The zoom session produced by our Marist laity enabled Marists not only from Sydney but from places around the world (Aotearoa New Zealand, Bangladesh, France, Italy, and Peru) to join us in remembering, prayer and celebration. Our Sr Marie Berise Nash was one of the participants in the Zoom Conversation on Fourvière.
