A Voice for Justice and Compassion

Sr Brigid Reynolds has been honoured with an Honorary Doctorate from the South East Technological University (SETU) in recognition of her lifelong dedication to social justice.

Throughout her life, Sr Brigid has worked tirelessly to address inequality, advocate for the poor, and empower marginalised communities. Her vision, compassion, and unwavering commitment have left a deep and lasting impact on countless lives.

At a ceremony held at the SETU Arena in Waterford, Sr Brigid expressed her gratitude, saying she felt honoured and humbled to receive the award. Her recognition stands as a tribute to her outstanding contribution as an educator, humanitarian, and Marist Sister whose life continues to inspire others.
