Sister Birisita makes her Perpetual Profession
7th December was a beautiful day in Lami parish. Many people gathered in the parish church - Biri's siblings and relatives, other religious and friends, as well as the Sisters and other members of the Marist Family. From Levuka, the young people had come to provide the joyous singing. Fr John Crispin sm celebrated the Mass and Fr Fred Kado sm was also there on his 40th anniversary of his priestly ordination. So there was much to celebrate!
Afterwards, the festivities took place in the parish hall. Later in the day gifts were opened in the convent and then the party continued in the school basement with family and close friends.

May Mary remain close to you always, as you live and minister in her name.
