 A Final Word from our Sisters who are preparing for Final Profession

Dear Sisters,

We have come to the end of our three months’ experience. It has been a wonderful time of renewal. Each of us felt connected with God, with Mary, with you - our Sisters - and with the world at large. With Mary we learned to look beyond with hope.

For the first few days following our retreat we gathered and shared with one another the treasures we have received over this precious time. In this sharing we were mutually enriched. On Thursday we had a day out in the Borghese Gardens - there we contemplated God in nature. It was so peaceful! Friday the 9^th was our last day together. Once again, we were very grateful to Fr Pat Devlin, who presided at our Opening Mass, and then returned to celebrate our Closing Mass.

At this point of the journey, we find it appropriate to thank each one of you for having accompanied us with your prayer. You really carried us through this time of preparation for our Final Vows.

It has been wonderful to be here in Via Aurelia surrounded by love and warmth. We thank our General Team for their openness, simplicity and the great sense of joy they shared with us. We would like to say also a big thank you to Joan for her love and care during this time. Her presence around us gave us more life and assurance.

Our thanks would be incomplete without mentioning Sylvette, who led this programme. Sylvette, we thank you for being our big sister. Your faithfulness and dedication to this renewal made it an unforgettable experience for us. Thank you very much.

To conclude, we would like to share with you a reflection and prayer from the five of us.
