A Close-Up Experience of West Africa

Following their gathering with other finally professed Marists under 60 years of age, four of our Sisters stayed on for a month to gain a deeper understanding of life and mission in this part of the Congregation. One of them, Sheila Manalo of the Philippines, kept a photographic account of her experience for which she is very grateful. Sheila thanks the Sisters of West Africa in the following words:

Thank you, Sister Inno and Sisters, for your kindness, for your welcome, for your hospitality, for your mindfulness,
for the opportunity to discover about life, country, language and culture.
Thank you for taking me around your ministries and allowing me to know
how you function in our Mission in Africa.
May God Bless you and Our Mother Mary protect you.
I will be forever grateful!!!

The first photo below shows a very special occasion of the consecration of the first Bishop from the Gambia. Bishop Mendy gave the religious present a special blessing. The other photos show the  communities of Marist Sisters, each with its list of respective ministries seen by Sheila.
