Final Profession - Mexican style

On 9th December Nayeli of Mexico professed her Vows for life. For a week beforehand she and Marta stayed in the area where most of Nayeli's family live. They spent their time working for Vocations with a Marist Brother and a Marist Father. Then they were joined by the rest of their community for the Profession Ceremony. It was a great occasion for the local people. Nayeli wore the traditional dress from her region, Uruapan, with special colours and embroidered by hand.

Marta writes, Following the Eucharist, there was a great celebration in a large space of the town and a lot of people participated, many of them gave away a large part of the food. We are grateful to God and to all the people and Sisters who joined us with prayer and also with the help in all the preparation.
