WOMEN RELIGIOUS ORDERS GATHERING IN PAPATOETOE, ANZ

The SMSM Sisters who live quite close to the Marist Sisters of Papatoetoe, Auckland, initiated a gathering for all religious communities who live in the parish of Papatoetoe.  There are 6 religious communities here from 6 different Congregations.

We enjoyed a shared meal to which each community brought an assigned dish.  The entertainment after tea was prepared and led by Sr Margaret Fitzgibbon smsm, who will be 90 years old this year.  We had a great time playing Bingo.  The prizes were scratch lottery tickets.  It was great laughing therapy!  Gemma, Tulua and Iulia thoroughly enjoyed the evening.  As we were leaving, everyone was shocked to hear that Auckland was back to Alert Level 3 lockdown for the second time this year.
