“Keeping Hope Alive in a World of Change“

Our Villa Maria community in Hythe, Kent was delighted to welcome sisters from several other communities as they came together for an enriching pre-Advent retreat!

The community was joined by Sisters from the Birmingham, Walsingham, and New Malden communities for a meaningful time of prayer and reflection.

Those who gathered were inspired by the reflections shared by the Vicar for Religious, Abbot Hugh Allen, who guided them using the theme “Keeping Hope Alive in a World of Change.

Reflecting on hope was especially fitting as they prepared for the Advent season – a time of anticipation and promise.
