Commitment to Safeguarding

Sisters Miriam McManus and Bernadette Healy visited communities in Carrick-on-Shannon, Tubbercurry/Charlestown, Sundrive Road and Cambridge Terrace, presenting the working document of the Marist Policy and Guidelines for the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults. 

They also highlighted “A Marist Sister in the Digital Age” – Code of Conduct. These gatherings provided opportunities for prayer, reflection, and discussion on important safeguarding topics.
