Commitment to Safeguarding

Sisters Miriam McManus and Bernadette Healy recently visited the communities in Carrick-on-Shannon, Tubbercurry/Charlestown, Sundrive Road and Cambridge Terrace, presenting the working document of the Marist Policy and Guidelines for the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults.

They also introduced “A Marist Sister in the Digital Age” – Code of Conduct. These gatherings provided valuable opportunities for prayer, reflection and discussion, enabling the Sisters to engage together with important safeguarding issues and to renew their shared commitment to creating safe and respectful communities.
