On the evening of Monday 1 November, the communities of Raiwaqa and Lami gathered for drinks and a delicious meal to farewell Srs Kate McPhee (General Team) and Béatrice Coly. (West Africa).
They write … We have deeply appreciated their presence among us and have learnt so much from their time here.
Amongst other things, Kate has been a gracious and supportive presence, accompanying Serah in her preparation for pre-novitiate and walking alongside Béatrice during her three-month experience with us.
Beatrice, in turn, settled easily into each community she visited and was warmly welcomed by priests and neighbours alike.
Her creativity was evident in the beautiful rosary beads, key ring holders, and screen-printed items she crafted—and she generously shared these talents with others.
